Further Ado - LIVE with David Cross this Friday, Oct. 6 on Zoom
Kicking off our new interview series with a special guest—my husband—on my eleventh wedding anniversary.
Darklings (I cannot hear this word in my head without hearing my husband say it like Gollum when referring to my newsletter),
We’re inviting All Subscribers to join us live on Zoom this Friday, Oct. 6, 2023 at 1:00pm ET for a very special hangout with me and my current* husband, David Cross. We’ll talk about love, marriage, child-rearing, and share stories from our wedding. (H. Jon Benjamin dressed like a rabbi and interrupted the ceremony.)
Come join us for a fun hour of conversation on our eleventh wedding anniversary. We promise it will be the best and worst decision you have ever made.
The Zoom link will be emailed to all subscribers at 12pm ET this Friday, one hour before the event.
Love,
Amber
*David always jokingly introduces me as his current wife, so I thought I’d return the favor.
As a reminder, future installments of this series will become a perk for our Paid Subscribers, but this Friday’s Further Ado with David is open to everyone and will be recorded for our archive.
Coming up!
New! Join us in the Chat for Good Riddance, a weekly space to let go of something that’s been bugging you. Every Saturday, I’ll share something I’m letting go of and invite you to do the same. It can be big or small, serious or silly—an interaction that left you feeling not so great, a piece of clothing you’ve been hanging onto for too long, or your anger over a tragically canceled TV show that ended on a cliffhanger. For All Subscribers.
New! A couple times a month, I'll share a new video made just for you reading something I've written over the years—a poem, an essay, an unpublished work (GULP)—as well as a unique prompt based on that work. Come get entertained and creatively energized. For Paid Subscribers.
Here, Take This, I Love You is back! Every month we will give away memorabilia and artifacts from the vaults of my office. A signed Joan of Arcadia script! Limited edition broadsides of poetry! Some gum Alexis Bledel once chewed! (I would never.) For Paid Subscribers.
I initially read that H. Jon Benjamin interrupted the wedding dressed as a "rabbit" and boy did I have a field day with that one. Thanks, brain, for always ensuring a good time.
Awesome!!
