I was making good progress on a recent closet clear-out, piling up old shirts and scarves I knew I’d never wear again. Then I opened an often-forgotten bottom drawer and found a sweater that stopped me cold: a white knit by Social Goods with “1973” written across it, commemorating the year of the Roe v. Wade decision which enshrined abortion rights into the Constitution.
