Here, Take This, I Love You: Chapter 10
A bundle of broadsides and a special writing prompt.

Spring is just around the corner, and soon we’ll all be sitting in parks reading our favorite poetry and musing about what the heat of the next season will bring.
As I’ve written here before, I am a connoisseur and lover of chapbooks and broadsides, so this month I’m sharing a little bundle of the latter from my many collaborations with different small presses over the years. The poems come from various books of mine including Dark Sparkler and Bang Ditto, and the broadside of “Poriferan” features artwork by publisher and artist Soheyl Dahi, making it especially wonderful for displaying. I personally love to frame and hang my favorite broadsides above my desk and around my office or sprinkle them throughout the house on shelves or mantels like “little feathers,” as Diane di Prima used to call them—small Easter eggs of inspiration to be found and reflected on.
Included with these broadsides will be a very special writing prompt from me to further fuel your creativity for whatever new projects or ideas or wild dreams may come your way. Let’s go into this time of rebirth and renewal surrounded by little gems of art and creative intention hung on our walls, sitting on our desks, and fueling our hearts.
