You know what’s so fascinating about all this? I have a little locked diary from when I was 12, and I’ve lost the key, but I feel it’s wrong to break the lock. Like, is that superstition or just me honoring my younger self?
I’m 90% sure that I do. I had it when I did a move a few years ago. I actually put the key ring in the lock if I remember correctly to be sure that I never lose it. Which sorta defeats the purpose of locking it.
Yeah, I have always been sorta paranoid about losing stuff. Plus when I was a kid I had this belief that they would be worth something some day when I became famous. Hasn’t happened yet but I’m still trying.
Of course, as I got older, reading some of it made me kinda embarrassed. But now I look at it as seeing how far I’ve come as a person.
