Recalling 'Joan of Arcadia' I'm reminded what an extraordinary series it was. Your vulnerability and ethereal nature shone thru so many times. You had a 'TV family' that was believable and for wont of a better word, natural. I hope your daughter will someday be as touched as I was.
This is really cool of you. I wish I could be a paid subscriber as this is something I would love to participate in.
Funny enough, the first image in this post presents a contradiction in what I would want if I could get it. I’m a big fan of Buffy and you have the script for the episode you were in featured in the photo. The problem is that it’s because of your participation in Buffy that I gave Joan of Arcadia a chance, which I am very grateful that I did.
I even covered what I think Joan of Arcadia is about in my own writing on Substack.

I'm happy to be here. Your work on Joan of Arcadia really made me question a lot of assumptions that I have about the world and gave me so much to think about. I think people could learn a thing or two today by revisiting it. Which is why I'm glad that it's come back recently, even bought the complete series DVDs recently so I can go back to it when I need it.
I love so much of your work but honestly this got me with the Sisterhood script. I absolutely was in love with those books and met you as an actress and became an avid follower after seeing you in this movie. Tibby was my favorite and most relatable character and you just perfected her on screen.
I really enjoy your art and always loved writing since I was young. It’s a brilliant way to express yourself. I want to grab back onto this as a hobby and outlet this year and I hope learn from you here.
Also, not to be lame but 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 (60 raised hands 😂😂❤️)
Also, a huge 👍🏼 to you for using your platform and status to bring positive change to the world! It’s really admirable 😊
Hi Sarah! We've been trying to reach you; I promise it's not regarding your car's extended warranty 😅 Please check the email address connected to your Substack account for an email from LITDsubstack@gmail.com. Thanks!
I go back to the days of 'Joan' of course but it was 'Free Stallion' that made me a fan for life. I read those poems a lot and then seeing you in the film 'Stephanie Daley,' which everyone should watch now more than ever, cemented my loyalty to all things AT. Not to mention being a film critic, I gave a rave review to 'Paint It Black' so count me in for anything you're a part of now and for the future. An inspiration to so many. Thank you for all your incredible words and can't wait to see the new Nicole Holofcener film for obvious reasons :)
good morning from brooklyn, ny! what a great idea and such a treat to fans who've been watching you since ....gulp ...the emily quartermaine days xoxoxo
I love small and tiny and miniature things. And chapbooks are so fun because they’re also unique - they’re not just small versions of the “regular” sized item - they’re special because they offer something specific. And it sounds like the time put into this was valuable as well!
Hand bound? Gold leaf lettering? Velvet cover?
Imagine if all books were given that much love and care... 🧡
Love your thoughts and thoughts to page. I mentioned before your mom and dad would come to my house and have dinner with Jerry Burchman. (Painter Los Angeles) your mom would sing - after dinner while she was pregnant with you. She was always an earth angel and an amazing pregnant mother/woman. I’m sure she still as if not more.
I will always have a love for the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" movies. But your post about revisiting trauma to access healing is what ultimately brought me here. Then I read your post about feeling lost over the last several years and the community you hope to build. I have felt all of what you described in that post and appreciate what you want to build here. I am looking into the paid subscriber options!
My father spent most of my life collecting movie, video game, and prop memorabilia. From swords and to lightsabers to giant sculptures and standup arcades...but never writing/creative collateral. Drove me nuts.
I always thought it was a bit weird that he ignored that side of the creative process (maybe because he couldn't imagine doing it)....anywho...that Hateful Eight script....yeah...I'm salivating. I'd like to start my own type of collection.
Thanks for offering up cool stuff to share (and doing a giveaway).

Thank you Amy! I loved doing this show so much. A true highlight of my career.
It was a fantastic series for sure. It’s been on TV where I am so I get to revisit it.

Btw...does that draft have in it who actually poisoned the coffee or had that not been decided already?
Right On!

Currently reading Listening in the Dark and it’s so empowering, how I’m learning to reclaim my intuition.

love this♥️
Chapbook 🤞
😁🤔
That’s a nice idea. If it was an auction for some charity I’d be all in. But not a drawing where I have very little chance to win.
You never know...
