Darklings, There is so much I want to share with you that I don’t even know where to begin, so I’ll just begin. Derrick and I embarked on our motorcycle poetry tour a week ago and in that time have covered more than a thousand miles on the Harley. My body aches from long stretches of riding, but I feel so charged up and happy with the adventure so far—it’s been everything I hoped it would be.
Good luck in the home stretch. We saw you in Chicago and drove to Louisville the next day- opposite of your trek, and omg we drove into some fierce storms and were thinking of you two the whole way. Amber, I just love how you captured so well those moments on a long bike ride that never are documented by photos but are documented in our memories, body and soul!! I’ve taken many long trips on the back of a BMW and occasionally on a Harley with my husband and agree with all you shared!! Blessings for more great adventures on the road!! ✌️
I'm glad that it looks like you're having fun. It's one of the things I've never been all that into. Taking photos of things that I'm doing. While I will do it for work and share content, I don't take photos of my food or the sunset or whatever. It just doesn't mean anything to me. I prefer to actually experience it.
